Pitcher for the Colorado Rockies (2006-2011), Cleveland Indians (2011-2013) and Baltimore Orioles (2014-2017)

Why he might be annoying:

Some baseball pundits felt he would be another Rockie pitcher who would struggle playing in Denver's notoriously high altitude.
He nicknamed one of his pitches 'The U-Ball.'
His nickname is 'The Chief.'
Many casual baseball fans have trouble pronouncing his first name.
Despite pitching two decent games during the Rockies 2007 playoff run, he received two no decisions.

Why he might not be annoying:

He exceeded expectations and became one of the few pitchers who successfully adapted to Denver's high altitude.
He pitched a franchise record 25 consecutive starts (2009).
He played for the Dominican Republic at the 2009 World Baseball Classic.
He is the second Rockies pitcher in franchise history to earn Pitcher of the Month honors.
He pitched the first no-hitter in Rockies franchise history (April, 2010).
