He spent the majority of his career on poor Raiders teams.
He was arrested for drunk driving (September 2008).
He publicly criticized the Patriots organization, feeling they solely released him as a result of his salary.
He became brash and outspoken following Warren Sapp's retirement from the Raiders.

He was a mainstay in the Raiders lineup, despite being an undrafted free agent.
He was considered one of the anchors of the Raiders defensive unit during the lean years.
He took responsibility for his actions in wake of his DUI charge, citing he made a dumb decision to drive drunk.
