He had a lot of health problems from a brain tumor, kidney complications, lymphoma, and salmonella poisoning.
He got into a heated discussion with another trainer over gay stereotypes.

Why he might not be annoying:

He was openly gay.
He was the first member of his family to receive a college degree.
The cast and viewers of ‘Work Out’ were devastated by his sudden death.
He looked fantastic despite all of his health problems.
He was a popular fitness trainer and was well liked by his clients.
