Why he might be annoying:

He helped kill the infamous monk Rasputin with royal in-law Grand Duke Dimitri.
He claimed he killed Rasputin to try to prevent the Russian Revolution, but it happened anyway.
He and his wife sued MGM for the movie 'Rasputin and the Empress' because the movie portrayed his wife as being Rasputin's mistress.
He was overly flamboyant.
He used to dress in drag and claimed to have caught the eye of King Edward VII of England.
He was bisexual.
There were rumors that he was having an affair with Dimitri, despite being married to Irina.

Why he might not be annoying:

He tried to stop the Russian Revolution by trying to get rid of what he thought was the problem.
He was very supportive of the Tsar and his country.
Even though Rasputin predicted that he would suffer a short life, Yusupov lived a quiet life in the U.S. until he was 81.
His memoir, Lost Splendor, was published in 1953.
