Why she might be annoying:

At a retirement, she took her golden parachute worth $20 million.
She brawled in a physical cat fight in the parking lot of 40 Deuce, a Hollywood burlesque club (2002).
She intercepted multi-thousand dollar Grammy gift bags intended for Steve Kmetko and Jules Asner.
She threw two baby showers for herself, reportedly at E! expense. Both were the most expensive parties E! ever threw.
She e-mailed all the employees of E! with her baby registry list. An anonymous employee wrote: 'Everyone knew the implications of the e-mail; buy her something nice or risk losing your job. So we all spent money we didn't have to appease her.'
For E!'s 'Guess Who's Coming to Decorate,' she strong armed the staff to use her home for a $2,000 improvement, giving her a baby nursery. The improvement went thousands over budget. The official story is that an old friend recommended her.
E! and Mindy Herman sent out a release stating that she was staying, then hours later they announced her resignation (May 27, 2004).
At her resignation, there were still six months left on her contract.
After receiving tons of e-mails praising E! Correspondent Steve Kmetko, she confronted him. She ask if he was behind the e-mails and he denied it. She then order E!'s computer guy to go through Kmetko's e-mails. Among his e-mails were some from the webmaster of his fan site talking about encouraging fans to write complimentary e-mails. She then fired him. Kmetko said he was told 'You never lie to the queen of E!'
During the September 11th attack, she and seventy E! Employees were covering Fashion Week in New York. She promised all that they would stay together and travel together, yet the next day she booked a car to Philadelphia and flew the Comcast's corporate jet back to L.A., stranding the others. The rest of the staff took a cross country bus ride back to L.A. days later.

Why she might not be annoying:

After it was brought to the attention of E!'s owners that she threw her baby shower at their expense, she reimbursed them $8,000.
When she took over E! in 2000, it was worth $2 billion. When she left it grew to $4 billion.
Under her tenure, E!'s subscribers grew from 59 million to 85 million.
She earned her MBA and law degree at UCLA.
