Acted in 'The Bob Newhart Show (1974-1975),' 'Shampoo (1975),' 'One Day at a Time (1975),' 'Silent Movie (1976),' 'Tarantulas: The Deadly Cargo (1977),' 'Soap (1978),' 'This is Spinal Tap (1984),' 'Police Academy 2: Their First Assignment (1985),' 'Clue (1985),' 'My Chauffeur (1985),' 'Flight of the Navigator (1986)' and 'Amazon Women on the Moon (1987)'

Why he might be annoying:

His name sounds like a WW II Nazi.
He left 'Head of the Class' for an film career that never gained steam.
Adding insult to injury, many 'Head of the Class' fans preferred his replacement, Billy Connolly.
Since 1990, he's rarely appears in the media.

He was a popular comedian and counterculture figure in the 1960's.
He worked as a radio DJ before taking his fictional DJ role on 'WKRP in Cincinnati.'
His character on the show was extremely popular.
He likes jazz.
He appeared on 'That '70s Show' and 'About Schmidt.'
