Why he might be annoying
Despite playing on the offensive side of the ball for his high school and college careers, he switched to the defensive side to get an NFL contract.
His tenure as the Broncos head coach was a disappointment, given the hype there was about his hiring.
He was accused of sexual assault during his tenure at the University of Colorado (2004).
Thirteen years after the initial allegations, they were brought to the forefront upon his hire as the Broncos head coach.
He guided the Broncos to consecutive losing seasons for the first time since the early 1970's, which sealed his firing.
Why he might not be annoying
He was the first African-American to serve as the Broncos head coach full-time.
He played the quarterback and running back positions before making the switch to defense.
He served on the coaching staffs of Adam Gase, Gary Kubiak and Marvin Lewis before landing the Broncos coaching job
He won his first game as an NFL head coach on Monday Night Foitball.
He was a member of the Buffaloes football team that won the National Championship (1990).
