Why Family Guy might be annoying
The main character, Peter, is drawn to have balls on his chin.
The show was canceled twice, before being given a third chance in 2005.
FOX rescheduled the show, making it difficult for fans to follow it.
It poked fun at the vulnerability of airport security shortly after 9/11.
The dog and baby are the smartest members of the family.
The baby fantasizes of murdering his mother.
They will drag out a joke until it becomes uncomfortable.
There is almost never a moral or a lesson learned.
It's offensive. They make fun of stereotypes.
The show has a psychotic monkey living in Chris's room that only he can see.
Other than Peter and Lois, none of the main characters have the typical New England accents.
Why Family Guy might not be annoying
Cartoon Network got rights to televise the series for next to nothing in hopes of promoting DVD sales.
The popularity on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim grew so large that FOX decided to revive the series with new episodes.
The show's DVD sold over 2.2 million copies in 2003, surpassing any TV-based DVD on the market, which was another factor in FOX bringing them back.
It poked fun at FOX by reading off the 30 failed shows they replaced them with on their first show back.
The opening scene is a parody of All in the Family's opening.
It uses both slapstick and satirical types of comedy seamlessly.
Peter and Lois are a part of the Kiss Army.
Robin Quivers is a fan of the show.
One of the main characters shares his name with a football team, Cleveland Brown.
