Why he might be annoying:

    He became a journeyman player after he left the Bulls.
    The NBA suspended him for most of the 1987-88 season due to drug abuse.
    He guided the Lakers to the 1989 NBA Finals only to be swept by his future team Pistons in four games.
    Despite contributing good numbers while with the Nuggets, the team had a horrible season with 62 losses.
    He coached the Sparks to their first playoff appearance only to be defeated by the Houston Comets in three games in the 1999 WNBA West Conference Finals.

Why he might not be annoying:

    He helped Notre Dame reach the 1978 NCAA Final Four in his time as a freshman.
    He made a 16-foot buzzer beating jump shot that snapped Virginia's winning streak of 28 games (1981).
    He excelled his talent in slam dunks and his scoring ability.
    He competed in the memorable 1985 NBA Slam Dunk Contest against the likes of players such as Michael Jordan, Dominique Wilkins and Julius Erving.
    He was the Bulls' last scoring leader before Michael Jordan.
    He is related to Basketball Hall of Fame member Willis Reed.
