She was in modeling school by age 12 and in front of photographers lenses by age 14.
Despite her knock-out body, she has always considered her main focus of attention to be her hair and skin.
She believes looks don't set women apart in the industry, but the way models 'act' during shows and their interpretation of fashions.
When asked what it's like to be one of the world's top models, she replied, 'It means the recognition of my work and all my efforts… I am very happy.' (but not very humble)

Why she might not be annoying:

By her teens, she had moved to Japan, then later Paris, before settling in New York.
By 2005, she commanded $10,000 per runway show.
By 2006, she was already a veteran of three 'Victoria's Secret Fashion Shows.'
She has been the 'face' of such modeling agencies as Hermès, MaxMara, Escada, H&M, Fendi, Chloé, Oscar De La Renta and Marc Jacobs.
She has been featured on dozens of magazine covers, and is the 'unofficial queen of Vogue.'
Her face has adorned the covers of French Vogue, Italian Vogue, Japanese Vogue, Chinese Vogue, Russian Vogue and Brazilian Vogue (as well as 'original' Vogue).
She plays the guitar and loves listening to Metallica.
