The Resume

    (March 2008- )
    Headquartered in Lausanne, Switzerland
    Tobacco company
    NYSE: PM
    78,300 employees (2010)

Why Philip Morris International might be annoying:

They were spun-off from parent company Altria Group so they could be free to sell their cancer sticks in emerging markets.
They do not sell cigarettes in the United States due to litigation fears (parent company Altria does this).
Their cigarettes have killed countless amounts of people.
Prior to their re-branding, they lied about the ill effects of smoking for decades.
They marketed their products to children.
The Marlboro Man died of cancer.
They sold 831 billion cigarettes (2007).

Why Philip Morris International might not be annoying:

They give away $25 million a year to charities.
They are sued repeatedly even though it is common knowledge by now that cigarettes kill.
The taxes on their products sometimes fund needed government programs.
The cigarette boxes look fancy (the ones that don't have pictures of rotting lungs on them, anyway).
