    (August 21, 1567-December 28, 1622)
Born in Chateau de Thorens, France
    Bishop of Geneva (1602-22)

Why he might be annoying:

After attending a theological discussion about predestination, he became convinced he was damned to Hell.
His biggest concern on being ordained was having to cut his hair short.
His first attempt to win back the Protestants of Geneva was offering John Calvin's successor a bribe of 4,000 gold crowns.

Why he might not be annoying:

He was called 'the gentleman saint' for his patience and modesty.
He developed a form of sign language to teach a deaf man about God.
    He was a spellbinding orator.
While preaching in Paris, the crowds were so immense that he could not enter the church and had to reach the pulpit by climbing a ladder through one of the windows.
