Why he might be annoying:

He hosted a game show that glorified food wasting (aimed at children, no less!).
His OCD led him to:
-Yell at his wife for showing up late to their wedding.
-Take off his shirt after Double Dare tapings if it got too messy, while hundreds of children in the studio audience watched!
-Shower more than 40 times just to make sure he was clean
Re-do his homework if only one mistake was made on it.
His college roommate would take bets on how long it would take Marc to take out the trash when one piece of trash landed in it.
He frequently makes obscure references and tells bad jokes.

Why he might not be annoying:

Despite hosting 'Double Dare,' he suffers from OCD and wrote a book about his battle with the disorder.
He is left-handed.
At twenty two, he filled in as the emergency announcer on 'The Joker's Wild.'
He stayed married for over 25 years, and has two children.
