He failed to live up his high draft billing.
He played on four different teams in a span of four years between his stints with the Oilers.
He was demoted to the minors for the first time during his stint with the Flyers.
He initially signed a letter of intent to play at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, before relenting on the agreement to play in the OHL.
He missed the final stretch of the 2010-11 season and the start of the 2011-12 one after he severed a tendon in his hand by a teammate's skate blade.
