Why he might be annoying:

He was considered too small for a defensive back by football pundits.
Despite being on the practice roster for four different clubs after 2000, he failed to catch on with another NFL team.
His rookie season as head coach was plagued with inconsistency.
After starting his rookie head coaching season 3-0, he came under intense scrutiny after losing five straight game and ended the season (including the playoff game) on a six game losing streak (2012).

Why he might not be annoying:

He earned two Grey Cup rings as a defensive backs coach and as a head coach (2008, 2013).
He joined Eagle Keys, John Gregory and Kent Austin as Rider head coaches in to win a Grey Cup and is the first Rider head coach to win it in Regina.
His style of coaching is considered popular by players and fans alike
At the age of 35 at the time of his hiring, he became the youngest head coach in Rider history.
