Why they might be annoying:

People only remember them for 'Little Darlin'.'
They were known as one of those acts who mainly did covers of songs first performed by blacks.
"Little Darlin'' spent eight weeks at number two on the Billboard charts, never reaching number one.
They have been touring without any of their original members for decades. At one point there were two groups touring with the Diamonds name.

Why they might not be annoying:

They did manage to have nine different songs in the top twenty of Billboard's singles chart
'Little Darlin'' has been covered by Elvis Presley and was performed by Sha Na Na at Woodstock.
They have been inducted into the Canadian Music, Vocal Group and Doo-Wop Halls of Fame.
