He was arrested in 2002 for driving under the influence.
He has tattoos all over his body.
His daughter Stephanie was born when he was eighteen years old.

Many of his former teammates complained he was self-centered and selfish.
The Olympic Dream Team that he played on finished with a disappointing Bronze medal, when the team was favored for the gold medal.
The NBA fined him in 2005, $10,000, for wearing his uniform shorts too long.

He played on Team USA's basketball summer Olympic team in 2004.
He was the first American to score 30 points in an Olympic basketball game.
After 9/11, he founded 'Assists for America,' where he donated $100 to a relief fund for each assist he made.
In August 2001, he was honored with the NBA Hometown Hero Award for his involvement in his community.
He was selected to the NBA All-Rookie 1st Team in 1996-97.
He was selected to the NBA All-Star Game in 2001 and 2003.
