Why he might be annoying:

When the castaways decided to vote out Clarence, he boldly told Clarence that he was about to be voted off before it even happened.
At that night's tribal council, he got two votes against him: one, obviously, from Clarence, and one from a source unknown to him.
Even though it was Teresa who voted against Lex, he accused Kelly of casting the 'mystery vote', and vowed to have Kelly voted off at the next tribal council (she was).
When his family was shown on TV, they looked like they had just stepped out of a trailer park.
He has the same first name as Superman's arch nemesis.
He has both ears pierced.
He has tattoos all over his body, among them a Native American likeness on his left torso and upper left arm, a crescent moon on his upper right arm, and several on his lower arm, leg, and who knows where else?
He has piercings.

Why he might not be annoying:

He helped vote off the redneck hillbilly Tom before the Final 3.
After a trip into an African village, where he delivered medical supplies to HIV-positive patients, he vowed to devote more time to helping HIV and AIDS patients upon returning home.
He was one of the strongest castaways in Africa.
He was happy to see Ethan win, even though he only finished 3rd place himself.
He plays drums in a rock band.
He enjoys surfing.
He is a devoted husband and father.
