Why Night Court might be annoying
Selma Diamond and Florence Halop both died while playing a bailiff on the show, leading many to believe there was a curse on the role.
It often relied on slapstick comedy such as Wile E. Coyote appearing as a defendant.
The character of Dan Fielding was a womanizing nymphomaniac.
The supposed sexual chemistry between Christine and Harry seemed awkward.
Why Night Court might not be annoying
John Larroquette won four consecutive Emmy Awards for his role on the show.
John Astin, Mel Tormé and Brent Spiner all had reoccurring guest roles.
They left the personal lives of the characters out of the show.
The show was created for Harry Anderson after his popularity from doing a guest appearance on ‘Cheers.'
