    Despite dance club success, she has been unable to cross over to the pop Top 40.
    She submitted a song for consideration as Switzerland’s entry for Eurovision, but it was not chosen (2012).
    Her website is not kept up to date: in 2016, her last blog entry was three years old.

    She left Warner Brothers for an independent label after they tried to push her away from house music (1995).
    Her next album and single were her biggest commercial successes to date.
    ’Free’ hit #1 on the Billboard dance singles chart and was a top ten hit throughout Europe (including topping the charts in Spain and Italy).
