Why he might be annoying:

While protecting the children, he placed himself in danger.
His owner stated George didn't stand a chance after he barked and rushed at the two dogs when he saw them rushing towards one of the children.
His death was especially devastating to his owner who owned him for seven years and lives alone.
His owner stated his telephone became worn out due to the high volume of calls regarding George's actions.

Why he might not be annoying:

He was willing to endanger himself to protect the children.
While his actions cost him his life, he also saved the children from great harm.
The pit bulls may have been fed methamphetamines to make them more aggressive.
His owner and the children he protected made him a makeshift memorial.
His heroic actions drew international attention.
