In a game against the Atlanta Braves, he ran into Marcus Giles as he was trying to play a ground ball which prevented Marcus from being in the starting lineup for the 2002 All Star Game.
In addition to hurting Giles, he hurt himself so bad that he missed all of his starts for a month.
He looks like Boston Red Sox GM Theo Epstein.
He has been accused of steroid use (April 1, 2004).

He majored in business while attending college at USC.
He reached the major leagues after just 9 minor league starts.
His career ERA is among the best in the majors since the start of the new millennium.
