Basketball Player

The Resume

Why he might be annoying:

He has sleeve tattoos on three of his four limbs.
Like his father, he primarily served as a benchwarmer in Portland.
He wore #2 at Duke, because he was the second Gary Trent in his family to play basketball.
Despite being considered a first round pick, he dropped all the way down to the middle of the second round.
Some basketball pundits felt he was acquired by the Trail Blazers out of vanity, given the fact his father played with the team two decades earlier.

Why he might not be annoying:

He is the son of former NBA player Gary Trent.
In a freakish coincidence to his father, he was traded to the Raptors in his third NBA season after 41 games with the Trail Blazers.
He embraced the opportunity to play full-time upon being traded to the Raptors.
He tied a Duke freshman record by recording six three point shots, and he accomplished the feat while battling an illness.
He is the third player in NBA history to record 44+ points and making 89% of his shots in a single game.
