Portrayed Robin Hood in 'The Adventures of Robin Hood'
Appeared as a semi-regular on 'The Old Curiosity Shop'
Appeared in the films 'Jason and the Argonauts' and 'Hamlet'

Why he might be annoying:

He portrayed Adolf Hitler in the play 'Eva Braun.'
He once said 'Doctor Who gave me a chance to indulge my passion for dressing up.'
Ironically, he died while attending a Science-Fiction convention.

During World War II, he served in the Royal Navy.
He cheated death after his ship hit a mine and sank.
He had a keen sense of humour.
He was an excellent swordsman.
He was a classically trained Shakespearean actor.
He was one of the few actors who was not typecast in the role of The Doctor.
