Why they might be annoying:

Most are unaware that the Braves were not named after Native Americans.
John Ward and James E. Gaffney, who were 'chieftains' in New York's Tammany Hall, owned the National League Boston franchise, which they referred to as the Braves.
They upset many Native Americans and opponents with their noisy Tomahawk Chop.
Jimmy Carter, Jane Fonda and Ted Turner have joined them in doing the tomahawk Chop.
Although Jane Fonda said she would never do the Tomahawk Chop, she continued to do a modified version of it.
They root for a team that has won 12 consecutive division titles (1991-2003) but only ended with one World Series title (1995)
Ted Turner jacks up their ticket prices every single season.
During the playoff series during the 90's, their were many empty seats.
They were embarrassed to see opponent, Randy Johnson, pitch a perfect game against them in their own home ball park (2004).
When favorite superstar Dale Murphy demanded a huge raise, owner Ted Turner traded him to Philadelphia, saying we finished in last with him and we can finish in last without him (1990).
Their team moved from Boston to Milwaukee to Atlanta.
Chief Noc A-Homa did a war dance outside his teepee. He quit in 1996 due to a salary dispute.
They refer to their team as 'America's Team.'
Owner Ted Turner actual managed a game and name the ball park after himself.

Why they might not be annoying:

They root for the team that has won the most games in the 1990's.
They watched the best pitching staff of the 90's.
Braves' home games are sold out on a regular basis.
They witnessed Hank Aaron break the HR record.
They take exceptional pride in the final words of the National Anthem: 'the home of the brave.'
Most were appalled at the racist and other insensitive remarks made by their closer John Rocker.
As they enter the park, they admire a 100 foot portrait of Hank Aaron's 715th home run.
The lower level concourse gives an uninterrupted view of the game.
Their stadium features a 38 foot coke bottle.
During the game, kids can go to Tooners Fields and pose with cardboard cartoon characters.
Their field was originally built for the 1996 Olympics.
During a game they can watch other televised games at the fan store.
