Why he might be annoying:

As a youth he tried to make bombs with his chemistry set.
He worked as an engineer working on software for F-18 fighter jets in San Diego.
He says he left engineering because of moral reasons working for the military, but a co-worker suggested he left to chase after his girlfriend, who also quit there and then moved to San Francisco.
He played practical jokes on his co-workers, including blowing up chemical equipment and putting dead goldfish in their coffee.
He sold the rights to 'Beavis and Butthead' to MTV.
He is going bald.
He went to Catholic School.

Why he might not be annoying:

He created two successful cartoons that thrived on Primetime television.
He got a degree in physics from UC San Diego.
He appeared in 'Office Space' as the Manager of Chotchkie's.
He shot 'Office Space' in his hometown of Austin, Texas and cast virtually unknown actors.
He played Bass and Harmonica in a Blues Band.
When he was young, he built an X-Ray machine.
He says about Engineers: 'They are very stiff people with weird brains and no heart.'
