Why he might be annoying:

    Although he went through the entire process and made it to 'American Idol' 4 - 2005's top 12, he dropped out (March 11, 2005).
    He claimed this was a great opportunity, yet he dropped out.
    He offered no explanation, only cited 'personal reasons' for his withdrawal (March 13, 2005)
    Although he claimed 'personal reasons,' his family was stunned by his decision.
    His mother learned of him quitting from a reporter and said 'I feel horrible about it.'
    He told Fox News Live the reason he quit was: 'I need to take care of some things in my life that needed to be focused on.'
    Within two weeks of quitting, he hired Jess Rosen, the same attorney Clay Aiken's used to free him fro his 'American Idol' 4 - 2005 contract.

Why he might not be annoying:

    Although 'American Idol' 4 - 2005 gives great exposure and almost guarantees stardom, their contract is considered one of the greediest and most restrictive in the entertainment field.
    He graduated La Guardia High School for the performing arts.
    By dropping out, he gave Nikko Smith the opportunity to compete on 'American Idol' 4 - 2005's top 12.
    He is the first person to quit ''American Idol' 4 - 2005.' Four in the past were dropped, two for failure to disclose an arrest, one for DUI and Frenchie Davis for posing on an adult web site.
    He appear on David Letterman's show to read the Top 10 (March 15, 2005).
