Why she might be annoying:

She has the heart of a baboon.
There is a famous photo (see above) of her listening to her mom's voice over the phone.
The scientific community was divided, with some scientist accusing the surgeon, Leonard Bailey, of child abuse for doing this operation.
There was a major controversy concerning the right of patient's privacy and the public's right to know.

Why she might not be annoying:

She caused many people to realize the shortage of organ donations, and caused many to donate organs.
For patient privacy, the baby was only known by her middle name 'Fae' which was also the middle name of her mom, grandmother and great grandmother.
After she died, her mother requested that this experience not be wasted.
The California Legislature approve resolution #481 honoring Dr. Bailey (November, 1986).
