Victim

The Resume

    (October 24, 1951-December 6, 1969)
    Born in Alameda County, California
Attendee of the Alamont Free Concert featuring The Rolling Stones
Knifed to death by a member of the Hell's Angels who provided security for the concert
Death caught on camera and became focal point of the 1970 documentary film 'Gimmie Shelter'

Why he might be annoying:

Besides his girlie sounding first name, his middle name was Curley.
    He enjoyed dressing flashy/tawdry.
He brought a gun to the concert.
An autopsy revealed he was on meth.
The biker was identified on film, arrested and put on trial but acquitted because the jury ruled self-defense due to the gun.
Many believe his death marked the end of the '60s, its innocence and peace movement.
He is listed in the 'Gimmie Shelter' documentary as 'Himself (black youth stabbed by Hell's Angel).'
For years cops speculated a second biker helped stab him, but no evidence could be obtained and the case was officially closed in 2005.

Why he might not be annoying:

Besides being stabbed five times he was kicked and stomped.
A medical team tried to save him but he lost too much blood.
His was not the only death at that fateful concert - two were killed by a hit-and-run driver and another drowned in an irrigation ditch while high on LSD.
Urban legend has the Stones performing 'Sympathy For The Devil' at the time of the murder (it was in reality 'Under My Thumb').
Alan Passaro, the 21-year-old Hell's Angel responsible for his murder, was found drowned in 1985 with $10,00 in his pocket.
In 2008 it was reported that due to the admonishment Mick Jagger gave the Hell's Angels over his death and their security he was targeted for murder by the group, but the deed wasn't carried out.
