Why Canadian Olympic Gold Medal Ice Hockey Team (2010) might be annoying:

    Marc-Andre Fleury never played in the tournament.
    Some Olympic pundits felt they, along with the American team had an advantage as a result of the rink dimensions catering to NHL standards, instead of Olympic ones.
    Like the 2002 team, their gold medal is credited as a result of having a superstar roster.
    Many of their victories were blowouts.
    Martin Brodeur was inconsistent through most of the tournament, and was replaced by Roberto Luongo.

Why Canadian Olympic Gold Medal Ice Hockey Team (2010) might not be annoying:

    With the victory, Mike Babcock, Eric Staal and Jonathan Toews became members of the Triple Gold Club.
    Duncan Keith, Brent Seabrook and Jonathan Toews joined a handful of players to win a Gold Medal and a Stanley Cup in the same season.
    They were considered one of the best Canadian Olympic men's hockey teams ever assembled, since being allowed to use NHL caliber rosters.
    They won their first ever Olympic Gold medal on Canadian soil.
    Sidney Crosby's overtime goal ranked among the top sporting moments in the 21st century.
