Why he might be annoying:

While playing with the Canadiens farm affiliate in Hamilton, he slashed Cleveland defenseman Garrett Stafford in the face with a two hand slash.
The stick swinging incident earned him a one year suspension.
He was charged with assault causing bodily harm (April 2004).
He failed to live up to his potential as an NHL player.

Why he might not be annoying:

He was forced to pay for Stafford's medical bills following the incident.
He scored his first NHL goal at Madison Square Garden (2005).
