    Holds degrees in mathematics from Oxford University, Qualifications in Law from the University of Glamorgan and secondary education from University of Exeter

Why he might be annoying:

    He's almost as wide as he is tall (6'7 and nearly 400 pounds).
    It is obvious that he got his nickname for his size rather than his trivia mastery.
    He was a morbidly obese P.E. teacher.
    He is often pompous and rude to contestants on 'The Chase.'
    At 48, he married his 22 year old second cousin.
    He says he does not feel bad when he makes the contestants on 'The Chase' lose their money.
    Despite being a trivia master, he never won more than £32,000 during both of his appearances on 'Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?'.
    He sometimes throws a tantrum when he gets beaten by the contestants on 'The Chase.'

Why he might not be annoying:

    He is incredibly intelligent.
    He doesn't mind when people poke fun at him for his size.
    He was so popular on the UK version of 'The Chase' that he became the chaser on the US version as well.
    He has donated a large portion of his winnings to cancer research.
    He rigorously studied US history in preparation for the US version of 'The Chase.'
    He is willing to compliment the contestants when they do well.
    Despite his intimidating TV persona, he comes across as personable in interviews.
