    Born in Rapid City, South Dakota
    Second baseman for the Oakland Athletics (2002-2011), Colorado Rockies (2011), Los Angeles Dodgers (2012-2013) and the St. Louis Cardinals

Why he might be annoying:

    He missed the entire 2004 season after he tore his labrum in a spring training game.
    Despite breaking Bret Boone's single season American League record for fielding percentage, he was passed over for the Gold Glove nomination (2006).
    He named two of his children, Briggs and Adelaide.
    He played on three different teams in a four year span after being traded from Oakland.

Why he might not be annoying:

    He graduated alongside Becky Hammon, and the two were named male and female athletes of the year in their graduating class.
    He was considered a great defensive player during his time at the University of Florida.
    He is one of a handful of players to play in the majors after coming from the Rapid City Post 22 development program.
    He was one of the players who was one of the main subjects in 'Moneyball.'
