Why TeleChobis might be annoying:

They are the poor man's version of Teletubbies.
Kenn Viselman, CEO of Itsy Bitsy Entertainment Co. (US Teletubbies company) said: 'It is wildly similar. The whole thing is appalling.'
TV Azteca was offered The Teletubbies if they aired commercial free, they turned it down and rival Televisa scooped up The Teletubbies.

In an offer to prevent a law suit, Ragdoll (UK) and Itsy Bitsy (US) said they would not litigate if TV Azteca removes TeleChobis from the air (January 19, 1999).

Why TeleChobis might not be annoying:

They like rabbits and dancing in the garden.
TV Azteca said that while they were negotiating for Teletubbies and had already gotten the products trademarked in Mexico, that it was unfairly turned over to their competitor.
Defending TeleChobis, Azteca's CFO Adrian Steckel, said, because you have Superman doesn't mean that there can't be a Batman.
