    Full name was Lucius Aelius Seianus
    Prefect of the Praetorian Guard (AD 14-30)
    De facto ruler of the Roman Empire when Tiberius withdrew to the Capri (AD 26-30)
    Became consul (AD 30)
    Arrested and executed upon Tiberius’s orders

Why he might be annoying:

    He used his position to effectively usurp Tiberius.
    He allegedly murdered Tiberius’s son Drusus, supposedly with the help of the latter’s wife Livilla.
    Afterwards, he tried to get rid of Tiberius’s potential heirs that were left.
    He exiled Agrippina and her son Nero as part of his attempt to eliminate Tiberius’s heirs.
    He turned the Praetorian Guard from bodyguards into assassins.

Why he might not be annoying:

    He was an equestrian, which prevented him from marrying into the Julio-Claudian dynasty by marrying Livilla.
    His father was Governor of Egypt.
    His family members and supporters were hounded down and executed after his death.
    He was the subject of a play by Ben Jonson titled ‘Sejanus His Fall’. (1603)
