Why they might be annoying:

They do not publish their lyrics on the internet or in their album covers and they do not support bootlegging.
Karl and Rick were originally in a hardly successful new wave band called, 'Freur.'
Darren quit the group to pursue a solo career (2000).
    Karl is a self-confessed alcoholic.
During Underworld's live performance at the Field Day Festival (Giants Stadium, New Jersey), pop star Beck fell and cracked a rib while dancing to their music. He was rushed to the hospital and had to cancel his performance later that night (June 7, 2003).

Why they might not be annoying:

When Calverton cancelled Field Day they were one of the few bands to decide to put on the show at Giants Stadium (2003).
Karl is a multi-instrumentalist and has played guitar, bass guitar, drums and other instruments for some albums.
Rick remixed and produced for Björk, The Chemical Brothers, Deep Dish and William Orbit.
Other artists they all have produced for include Depeche Mode, Simply Red and Leftfield.
They have been called 'The Planet's Most Inventive Producers of Free Electronics' and the 'Most Crucial Electronic Act of the 1990's.'
They have their own graphics company called 'Tomato,' which has made graphics for such commercials as Nike, Levi's, Sony, Adidas and Pepsi.
Karl is very interested in art and he shows his exhibitions all over Europe.
At the 1992 Glastonbury Festival they set up an experimental sound field with loads of screens, lights, slides and strobes, which also had music playing out of tons of speakers and a tower with Dj's and musicians. It astonished everyone there and was called one of the best show set-ups.
Rick and Karl met at Cardiff Art University, where Rick was studying electronics.
