Why he might be annoying:

He would take forever to get his clothes off before his match.
Along with Big John Studd, he shaved Andre the Giant's head, an incident he said, 'Raped Andre the Giant of his dignity.'
He did time in prison for breaking into a restaurant.
After his sentence, it was turned into a wrestling angle that featured a debate with Bobby Heenan where Heenan's remarks got so absurd the WWE had to turn his mic off.
He tried to make a comeback in the late 80's.
He wrestled at the first Summer Slam but the match was completely forgotten about.

Why he might not be annoying:

He's the first Olympian to work for the WWE.
Many men in wrestling have been called 'The World's Strongest Man' but he was the first to go by the name and the only wrestler to have success with it.
The most memorable moment of his career was when he stood against a wall and stopped a truck from driving into him with his feet.
He was so strong that he could give people body slams without the recipient having to help him execute it one bit.
He won four gold medals in power lifting at the Pan Am Games in 1971.
He was way over as a heel and was named Most Hated Wrestler of the Year in PWI in 1977 and 1981.
His match with Bob Backlund was named Match of the Year in the Wrestling-Observer in 1980.
He's ranked #56 in Total Wrestling Magazine's 100 Greatest Heels of All-Time.
WWE named him of the 50 greatest wrestlers in the history of the company.
