Why she might be annoying:

She is unprofessional in delivering the news.
She has a tendency to drone on with a deadpan delivery and she rarely varies the pitch of her voice.
She often clears her throat on air.
Once she cleared her throat and ended up in an extended coughing fit.

Why she might not be annoying:

She was the first Australian news reader to report the September 11th attacks.
She injects a sense of humor into her news reading.
When Billy Connolly's interview was cut short by Rove McManus by saying it was time to cross to Sandra for the news, Connolly joked: 'What's she got to say that's so important?' At the end of her newscast, she ad libbed: '... And that, Mr. Connolly, is what was so important.'
She has been labelled 'Australia's reason to stay up late.'
