Hockey Player

The Resume

Why he might be annoying:

He spent most of his career playing on poor teams.
Many hockey pundits consider him to be one of the better players never to win a Stanley Cup.
He was traded to Toronto after ownership disagreed with his title of president of the NHLPA.
He played for the Leafs during the team's infamous 'Ballard Years' era.
He opted to play his final two seasons of pro hockey in the WHA instead of retiring when his contract was up.

Why he might not be annoying:

He was a skilled playmaking center.
As a rookie, he played on the top line with future Hall of Famers 'Terrible' Ted Lindsay and Gordie Howe.
He was considered a valuable leader for every team he played for.
In the NHL, he scored over 1,000 career points.
Despite never playing for a championship team, his decent point totals earned him an induction into the Hockey Hall of Fame (1982).
