His 13 wins in 2010 were the lowest for any Cy Young winner in a full-length season.

Why he might not be annoying:

In garnering 13 wins in 2010, he accounted for some 21% of the Mariners wins, as the team finished with 101 losses.
One such case of how his team couldn't support him came on September 23rd, 2010, when he gave up a solo home run and one other hit in a complete game and still lost.
Upon his major league debut, he was the youngest pitcher to appear in the majors in 21 years.
One main reason he decided to join the Mariners was due to Freddy Garcia, a fellow Venezuelan who he looked up to, being on the team when he signed with them. He eventually switched his jersey number to 34 in honor of him.
He is an ambassador representing the Mariners for the Washington State Coalition Against Domestic Violence.
He pitched a perfect game against the Tampa Bay Rays (August 15, 2012).
