    Pitcher for the Colorado Rockies (2004-10; 2012-13) and Kansas City Royals (2011)

    His nickname is 'Boomer.'
    He lost his first career game which happened to be an 8-1 drubbing to Atlanta (2004).
    His career has gone unnoticed outside of Denver.
    Despite putting on a dominant performance in the 2007 playoffs, he surrendered six runs in a 13-1 loss to the Red Sox (2007).
