The Resume

    (May 24, 1970-March 3, 2017)
Born in Glen Ridge, New Jersey
Recorded the singles ‘A Shoulder to Cry On’ (1989) and ‘I’ll Be Your Everything’ (1990)

Why he might be annoying:

He cried when he was told that ‘I’ll Be Your Everything’ had topped the Billboard singles chart.
He recorded ‘I’ll Be Your Everything’ with the New Kids on the Block.
Although the song probably would not have been nearly as big a hit without the New Kids connection, he complained, ‘I want my own identity. I’m Tommy Page, not a New Kids clone.’
He guest starred in an episode of Full House.
Most of his later albums were released only in Asia, where he remained popular after his US hits stopped.

Why he might not be annoying:

He was discovered while working as a cloakroom attendant at the nightclub Neil’s in New York City, when he convinced Sire Records head Seymour Stein to listen to his demo tape.
He returned to NYU to earn a business degree.
He became vice president for Top 40 promotion at Warner Brothers/Reprise Records, where he helped shape the careers of artists ranging from Michael Buble to Green Day.
