Why Asia might be annoying:

Most of the world religions originated in Asia: Judaism, Muslims, Christianity, Hinduism, Buddhism, Confucianism and Sikhs.
During the dark ages, The Crusade, in an effort to convert everyone to Christianity, wrecked havoc on Asia.
India began a caste system that they still use today (1000 BC).
They are hit by tsunamis that kill tens of thousands.

Why Asia might not be annoying:

It is the birthplace of Buddha, Confucius, Mahavira, Christ, Muhammad and Ghengis Khan.
European, Marco Polo, traveled to China to share culture (1300).
North America was found by Europeans when they searched to find a new route to India.
Malaysia has a couple of the world's tallest buildings.
The first recorded culture in China was the Yangshao (5000-3000 BC).
Cotton weaving was first done in Mohenjo-Daro, India (3750 BC).
The pottery wheel was first used in Sumeria (3400 BC).
Cities sprung up and the Lunar Calender was first used in Mesopotamia (3200 BC).
Silk was first manufactured in China (3000 BC).
It is the origin of the Legal Code of Hammurabi (1790 BC) and Code of Deuteronomy (600 BC).
The alphabet (consonants only) was invented in Syria (1600 BC).
Phoenicians improved the alphabet (1400 BC).
Writing was invented there (1400 BC).
Moses lead Hebrews out of slavery from Egypt to Israel (1200 BC).
Babylonians plotted and maintained records of astronomical observation (750 BC).
China started the use of currency (400 BC).
Standardization of weights and measures, coinage and the writing system, were all done under the Legalist regime in China (220 BC).
