Why he might be annoying:

    For someone who claims he is centrist, he leans to the right on many issues.
    Despite his claims that he is a registered independent, it was revealed he was actually a registered Republican in Nassau County, New York, from 1994 to 2000. He re-registered as an independent soon after.
    He revels on the fact that his father made no more than $35,000 growing up, although today, $35,000 is equivalent to $90,000.
    He claimed that 'Inside Edition' won Peabody Awards while he was anchor, although it actually won a Polk Award after he left the show.
    He enjoys sleeping as much as possible.
    He interrupts his guests.
    He publicly apologized on rival station ABC, saying that he was wrong in believing that Iraq had weapons of mass destructions (February 10, 2004).
    His employee, Andrea Mackris, is suing him for sexual harassment. She accuses him of forcing her to have phone sex on multiple occassions. According to Mackris, O'Reilly's favorite topics included masturbation, vibrators and threesomes (October 13, 2004).
    He hangs up on callers just for mentioning Keith Olbermann's name.

Why he might not be annoying:

    He is not afraid to speak his mind on a variety of issues.
    He blasted the Red Cross over the fact that most of the funds for September 11 victims went to the Red Cross instead of the victims.
    In addition, he stated that the celebrities involved in the telethon for the victims of September 11 were only doing it for publicity and not for the families of the victims.
    In June of 1996, he received his Master’s degree from Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government.
    His books 'The O'Reilly Factor' and 'The No Spin Zone' were #1 New York Times Bestsellers.
    He was ranked #10 on Entertainment Weekly's Entertainers of the Year (2001).
