    Premise: An English butler goes to work for a middle-class family in Pennsylvania
    They had a large number of 'very special episodes.'
    A running gag involved Mr. Belvedere making fun of Wesley's best friend for his orthodontic headgear.
    Another running gag featured Heather's best friend mispronouncing Mr. Belvedere's name. ('Mr. Velveeta,' 'Mr. Bell Pepper,' etc.)
    It was yanked off the air abruptly in late 1989 with no further episodes until the two-part finale was shown in July, 1990.
    According to a popular (but false) rumor, Rob Stone grew up to become Marilyn Manson.
    It was cancelled in 1987, but brought back due to fan protests.
    It was one of the charter shows for ABC's 'TGIF' line-up.
    Fergie guest starred in a Valentine's Day episode as Wesley's date.
    In the 'Family Guy Video Game!,' Mr. Belvedere is Peter Griffin's nemesis.
