Why he might be annoying:

His two films 'Alone In The Dark' and 'House of the Dead' are considered some of the worse films ever (see Rottentomatoes.com).
He creates bad movies out of exceptional games.
His films (especially 'House of the Dead' and 'Alone In The Dark') are major flops (and for a good reason).
In a last chance effort to defend his movie 'Alone In The Dark' he said: 'If I would be a completely stupid asshole, then the big question is why people like Christian Slater or Ben Kingsley are playing, and not even for a lot of money, in my movies.'
He owns the rights to 'Bloodrayne' and 'Hunter: The Reckoning.'

Why he might not be annoying:

He graduated from Cologne and Siegen University in 1995 with a doctorate degree in literature.
