He did not play a game during the 2005 playoffs where the White Sox won the World Series.

White Sox general manager, Kenny Williams said that Thomas was 'an idiot, selfish, and that the White Sox don't miss him,' after Thomas left the team to sign with Oakland.
Why he might not be annoying
Jeff Bagwell and him share the same birthday and were both named MVP's in 1994.
He was a standout tight end at Auburn.
He is considered one of the best pure hitters in baseball history.
He became the second first basemen to win consecutive MVP awards.
He was elected to join the Major Leauge Baseball Hall of Fame (January 8, 2014).
