Why she might be annoying:

Post-college, she moved to Virginia, close to a border with two notorious gun-control areas.
She is a fan of Taylor Swift.
She claimed the U.S. was the first country to end slavery within 150 years and not get credit for it (disputed by several Latin American countries).
We didn’t make those book titles up; take it up with her!
‘When you are handed something instead of having to work for it, you don’t respect it as much.’

Why she might not be annoying:

Her middle name is relatively generic (Merri).
Growing up in the mountains of northern Arizona, she became an avid huntsman and rafter (‘we fly big American flags, not just small ones’).
She played on her high school volleyball and basketball teams.
She routinely comments on existent issues, such as bias in education and immigration. (On notoriously left-wing channels, no less!)
She has little patience for climate change activism.
