Why he might be annoying:

He was expelled from UC Berkeley after the school officially adopted an anti-nudity policy.
The city of Berkeley adopted an anti-nudity ordinance after he attended a city council meeting naked.
He spent the last decade of his life bouncing between halfway houses, psychiatric hospitals and jails.
He committed suicide while in jail awaiting trial on charges of battery and assault with a deadly weapon.
He was arrested several times for being nude in public.
In college, he attended classes nude.
He was kicked out of UC Berkeley after they issued a strict anti-nudity rule.
His nickname was 'Naked Guy.'
He was sent to jail in January 2006 on charges of assault with a deadly weapon.

Why he might not be annoying:

Before the University and Berkeley adopted specific anti-nudity laws, he successfully defended himself with the argument that nudity without lewd behavior was not illegal.
He brought along a towel to place between himself and his seat.
He argued that clothes in Southern California were useless except as a means of class distinction.
He posed for Playgirl.
He suffered from a mental illness that was never properly diagnosed.
He was not ashamed of his nakedness.
His actions were covered in the media nationally, and he appeared on several talk shows.
He said that the reason why he was nude all the time was to make a point about free expression.
He stood up for his beliefs.
