    Directed 'The Legend of Boggy Creek' (1972), 'The Town That Dreaded Sundown' (1976), 'The Norseman' (1978), 'Sacred Ground' (1983), 'Boggy Creek II: And the Legend Continues' (1985), and 'Hawken's Breed' (1987)

Why he might be annoying:

    He speaks with an annoying southern/hillbilly accent.
    He repeatedly had members of his own family play roles in his films, as well as playing major roles himself.
    He horribly miscasted Lee Majors and Cornel Wilde as Vikings in his movie 'The Norseman'
    His movie 'Boggy Creek II' had virtually nothing to do with the first one, and was later featured on an episode of Mystery Science Theater 3000.

Why he might not be annoying:

    His first film, 'The Legend of Boggy Creek,' was filmed on a budget of around $100,000 and earned $20 million at the box office.
    The majority of his films have faded into obscurity.
    In addition to directing and acting, he has also worked as a producer, screenwriter, cinematographer and a set decorator.
